PdfParse + Zapier · Preview

PDFs in. Your workflow moves forward.

Turn incoming invoices into records your team can use. Connect a PdfParse project to Zapier, send PDFs into an extraction table, and move saved fields into your spreadsheet.

An invoice workflow

From an incoming file to a spreadsheet row.

Example workflow · extraction runs in the background

  1. 01

    Send the PDF

A new file in your Drive folder starts the intake Zap.

  2. 02

    Save the invoice fields

PdfParse extracts supplier, invoice number, currency, and total into your table.

  3. 03

    Create the spreadsheet row

A second Zap reads new saved records and maps their fields to Google Sheets.

The native integration is being prepared for release. The tutorial covers the app in testing; access requires its private invite or public listing.

One project. Connected steps.

Keep the document and the useful data together.

01

Send PDFs into an existing table

Map a downloadable PDF and choose its destination table. The upload action returns a job and document ID while extraction continues in the background.

02

Use the fields you already defined

The saved-row trigger exposes your table's extraction fields for mapping. Keep invoice details connected to their source document rather than copying them into disconnected notes.

03

Follow completed and failed jobs

Signed webhooks drive instant job notifications. Use saved-row polling when the next step needs extracted data, and job triggers when it needs processing status.

04

Connect each project deliberately

Every connection uses a project API key. Give each connection a recognizable name and select tables from that project.

Start with a moderate-volume workflow.

The PDF action accepts files up to 8 MiB. New Extracted Row polls the newest 200 records in tables with an automatic integer ID; your Zapier schedule and PdfParse API allowance apply. For bulk synchronization, use the paginated REST API.

Read the limits and recovery steps

Make one invoice complete the loop.

Use the synthetic invoice in the tutorial to verify the path from PDF to PdfParse record to spreadsheet row.
