The short version

The same pages, a third of the price, and a review step.

01

About a third of the price

Parseur's Premium plan is $269 a month for 3,000 pages, and Pro is $499 for 10,000. PdfParse Pro is $79.99 for 3,000 pages, and Enterprise is $129.99 for 10,000. That's roughly $0.027 and $0.013 a page against Parseur's $0.090 and $0.050.

02

A review queue, not a leap of faith

We found no confidence scores or review queue in Parseur's documentation; its validation formats fields against the mailbox schema. PdfParse scores every routing decision and holds anything below your threshold, or any failed extraction, for a person to check beside the PDF.

03

Route by document type, not by address

Parseur routes by mailbox: each address gets its own templates and schema. PdfParse inboxes can classify what arrives, split packets into documents, and send each one to the table that fits it, all from one address.

04

Tables you can query

Parseur exports Excel, CSV, and JSON and syncs to Google Sheets. PdfParse keeps every document as rows with linked line items, which you can query with SQL in the dashboard or download as a single SQLite file.

Run both on the same PDFs first.

You don't have to migrate on faith. Use your free pages on the documents Parseur already handles and compare the rows.

  1. 01

    Copy your mailbox schema

Each field in your Parseur mailbox becomes a column with a one-line description. Table fields become a linked line-items table.

  2. 02

    Forward to one inbox

Point the same forwarding rule at a PdfParse inbox. Routing rules can replace several single-purpose mailboxes.

  3. 03

    Compare, then cut over

Review the rows beside their PDFs, then move your Zapier step or webhook once they match.

PdfParse vs Parseur: common questions.

Is PdfParse a good Parseur alternative?

For PDF documents, yes. PdfParse costs about a third as much at the same page volume, holds uncertain documents in a review queue, routes mixed documents by type, and stores results in queryable tables. If you mainly parse email bodies rather than attachments, Parseur is built for that.

How much cheaper is PdfParse than Parseur?

At 3,000 pages a month, Parseur Premium is $269 and PdfParse Pro is $79.99. At 10,000 pages, Parseur Pro is $499 and PdfParse Enterprise is $129.99. Both offer 20 free pages to start.

Can PdfParse parse the email body?

No. PdfParse inboxes process PDF attachments. Email body text and download links aren't converted into documents.

Does PdfParse have an MCP server like Parseur?

Yes. PdfParse runs a remote MCP server with OAuth, so AI agents can create tables and routing rules, upload documents, run extractions, and search saved rows.
